Dubai

I can't believe it, but it has been a year and 8 months since I came to Dubai. I remember back in 2007 when I was looking at pictures of the Dubai skyline and wondering what the city would be like and how awesome it would be to go to Dubai one day. Little did I know I'd be living in Dubai for a long time! I don't regret it at all.

I have to be honest though, didn't really like it at first, or for a while for that matter, but at some point, I started liking the life over here. I still miss all my friends in the US, and still have all my things over there, but yet, I don't seem to need any of those things. Makes me think about all the things I thought were necessary.

Anyway, after being here for the amount of time that I have, I thought I should write something about Dubai. So over the next few weeks, I am going to write about the things in Dubai that I like and notice.
